New School Building Phase 1

Our New School Building

Up to now, we have been teaching in our 2 very large huts with tin roofs and under our beautiful big tree.

But for the future, we want to build a proper brick building for 2 classes – there is also pressure from the inspectors, since we are a state school.

According to David, it will cost €7,000, but experience tells us it will be around €10,000 by the time everything is finished – and we don’t have that money (yet). But why wait?

We thought we’d just make a start. Brick by brick, to give our vision solid walls 😀

Thank you to all the supporters who make this possible. Every €100 means another row of bricks.

With warmest regards, Bernd, Marco and David

New school building – start of construction

Update 30 October 2025

Construction is moving on to the next stage. We were able to build the walls considerably higher and take a big step forward.

We and everyone there are really delighted with what can already be seen! But there’s more to come!

By the way, the building is 163 square metres in size.

Update 19 October 2025

Within a week, we have already made great progress! The first walls are already standing!

Brick by brick, the Bible school students are helping too and learning hands-on.

Work continues next week, and we can’t wait to see how it goes.

Update 9 October 2025

A generous donor has transferred half of the required amount to us! There have also been a few smaller donations already, hallelujah! It goes to show that when we work together, we can achieve even the most unimaginable things – especially with God’s help!

Update 8 October 2025: The government inspector came to our school with a team, and when he saw the condition of our classrooms, he threatened to close the school. He said it was very dangerous for the children, especially when it rains, and that there was no progress on our new building.

He told us they would have no choice but to close our orphan centre if we did not at least do something on our permanent building.

The whole building costs around 7,000, but if we could raise at least 1,000 so that they can see things are moving forward, we could prevent what would otherwise happen.

We are grateful for every bit of help, and we thank you all for everything you have already done!!!! 🙂
