Marco and I were there last year, so we already have your travel guides. We’ll have 1–2 pick-ups and spend most of our time at the children’s home. We’ll also spend some time at the source of the Nile and experience a few things there.
During our time at the children’s home we’ll have lots of fun with the children, learn a lot from them and, in turn, see where we can support them further. We might even build a hut ourselves or help out in the fields. Either way, gratitude, humility, joy and a great deal of God’s love will fill our hearts anew. This is a Christian trip – we travel with God.
We’ll stay there in nice tents. There’s fresh, clear water from our well and good food, and you can even try your hand at fishing.
For 2–3 days we’ll also travel to the place where the Nile begins. There we’ll stay in nice, more comfortable bungalows, relax and discover Uganda’s wildlife and plants. There are also opportunities for rafting, hiking and safaris.
The main focus, however, is visiting the home and experiencing first-hand what we support there.
