In early April 2025 we officially bought 10,000 m² of land. We had the land surveyed by GPS and the purchase certified by a (Christian) lawyer we are friends with. And, as is customary there, we signed it together with the neighbours.
Our land – provided by God
God has given us a beautiful piece of land – 10,000 square metres in the heart of Uganda.
The plot is ideal for our vision:
Our own spring supplies us with fresh water.
The soil is perfect for making our own bricks – that saves money and doubles as hands-on training.
Just 100 metres from the lake, the land is quiet, fertile and right in the neighbourhood of the children’s home.
The children’s home is only about a 10-minute walk away – perfect for working together, building projects and sharing life together.
Maize, bananas and other food grow on the land, helping the school to become self-sufficient.
A road runs almost right up to our land.
This is becoming more than a school site – it is growing into a spiritual home, a workshop for the Kingdom of God and a place where young men can grow into strong servants of Christ.
