This is Robert. He is 42 years old and our new Bible school teacher in Uganda. He studied for 13 years and earned his doctorate (PhD) in “Christian Leadership”. He also holds a diploma in Pastoral Care, Discipleship and Ministry, as well as a master’s degree in theology.
In his dissertation he looked in depth at “Leadership in Churches – How to Lead a Church Today”. We are delighted that he is now passing on his wide experience and knowledge to our Bible school students.
Our first conversation lasted almost an hour and was truly wonderful. We got on straight away and shared our stories, our motivation for Jesus and our hearts. We had no doubt that we share the same goal and will work together excellently.
We have also already discussed our curriculum in broad terms and were completely of one mind on the topics.
His costs will be €200 a month for 3 days a week. That is quite little for someone with his level of education – Robert could earn considerably more elsewhere. But he sees it as a great investment in the young men of Uganda.
