Maize, Sweet Potatoes, Cassava and Bananas – A Successful Start
Our first harvest was a great success. We brought in 2 tonnes of maize and 1 tonne of sweet potatoes. We also harvested cassava and the first bananas. The citrus trees are taking root well too and promise rich yields in the future.
This harvest is an important step for our community. It not only secures our food supply but also strengthens our independence and self-sufficiency. The successful harvest shows that our farming efforts are bearing fruit and laying a sustainable foundation for the future. We are proud of what we have achieved and look ahead to future harvests with optimism.
