Our loo - can’t do without it!
This is how you build a bog in Uganda: first you dig deep, by hand with a shovel. The pit is then lined so it lasts for years. A concrete slab with a hole goes on top.
Then the “loo building” goes up, with a roof and an “air vent”. Back home we used to call this a “Plumpsklo” (a long-drop toilet)
